Health Canada
Health Canada works with governments, industry and consumers to establish policies, regulations and standards related to the safety and nutritional quality of all food sold in Canada. Health Canada is responsible for assessing the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's activities related to food safety. The Department also evaluates the safety of veterinary drugs used in food-producing animals.
Public Health Agency of Canada
Each year Canadians become ill from the foods they eat. The Public Health Agency of Canada, together with Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, work in close cooperation with health authorities to protect the public from these outbreaks.
Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care

Be Food Safe
Be Food Safe is a division of the Canadian Partnership for Consumer Food Safety Education. Be Food Safe was introduced in Canada to bring renewed focus and a fresh new look to the four (4) core food safety practices of Clean, Separate, Cook and Chill. Retailers, food and consumer product companies and other organizations interested in promoting these preventive health messages are invited to work with the Partnership.

County of Lambton Community Health Services Department
The County of Lambton Community Health Services Department provides information on food safety including information on the Safe Food Handling Course, applications for new food premises and special event application forms.
